Isle d'Abeau New Town illustrates just how an existing heritage
can be incorporated into an innovative contemporary context:
a happy marriage of traditional rural villages, historic sites,
cultural facilities and modern architecture.
The New Town's heritage also includes a protected natural
environment with 70 hectares of ponds: the St Bonnet nature
park, the ponds of Fallavier, Vaugelas, Trois Eaux and Etang
Neuf.
