Isle d'Abeau was a state-instigated project backed by local
government bodies. Begun in 1970, the New Town is now regarded
as a success in economic, town planning and geographical terms.

20 minutes from Lyon, 30 minutes from Grenoble and 10 minutes
from St-Exupéry international airport, Isle d'Abeau is
a site with real development potential for businesses and residents.
Two main stakeholders currently contribute to its development:
EPIDA (Isle d'Abeau New Town Planning Authority) and SAN (New
Urban Area Business Association).
