The New Town's educational facilities comprise:

Villefontaine.
- 6 junior secondary schools: "François Truffaut"
and "Robert Doisneau" in Isle d'Abeau, "Les Allinges"
in St-Quentin Fallavier, and "Louis Aragon", "Servenoble"
and "René Cassin" in Villefontaine.
- 2 senior secondary schools: "Philibert Delorme"
in Isle d'Abeau and "Leonard de Vinci" in Villefontaine,
together with 4 post-secondary vocational establishments.

University facilities are based on the Institute of Technology
(I.U.T), offering courses in Electrical Engineering and Computer
Science for Industry, and Communication Services and Networks,
together with a hall of residence and a student restaurant.
The proximity of the university hubs of Lyon and Grenoble means
the broadest possible range of possibilities for those wishing
to continue in higher education.
